I am Jon McCoy and I am running for Adams County Sheriff.

As a 28 year veteran of the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, I have experienced all aspects of law enforcement from patrol to paperwork and report writing to investigations. I am a proud graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Guided by skill, training, and instinct, I served as lead investigator for 20 years. As Chief Deputy for 17 years, I was in charge of day to day administration of the department’s budget, employees, and equipment.

I’m running for Sheriff because I am confident I can provide better service in a more efficient and effective manner than is currently provided to the citizens of Adams County. I will restore leadership, experience and fiscal responsibility to the office of Adams County Sheriff.
